For clear European Portuguese, anchor your listening with RTP and Antena 1 from Portugal. For Brazilian Portuguese, the big news-talk networks — CBN, Rádio Globo and Jovem Pan — give you well-spoken, structured speech. Decide early which variety you're learning and lean into stations from that country, since pronunciation and vocabulary differ.
How to get the most from it
Listen 10–15 minutes a day to a station you follow about 70–80% of, replay and summarise short segments aloud, and note new words as you go. Shadowing the presenter trains the specific rhythm of your target accent.
