Privacy Policy

Retune·FM is a hobby project and collects as little as possible. This page lists everything it touches.

DNS

The DNS resolver does not log queries or IP addresses. See DNS privacy & security for detail.

Website visits

When you browse this site we keep ordinary server-side visit records: IP address, page URL, referrer, and browser user-agent. This is used only to understand traffic and diagnose problems. It is not sold or shared, and it is not linked to your receiver.

Cookies

We use only first-party preference cookies — no advertising or third-party tracking cookies:

Device code

Each receiver shows a short 6-character code. If you use the "send to receiver" feature, that code is used to attach the favourites list you built on the site to that receiver. We store the code and the list of station IDs; we do not store personal data with it.

Web player

The online player keeps an anonymous listening tally (a random id stored in your browser, the station played and seconds listened) to rank popular stations. It contains no IP address and cannot identify you.

Donations

Donations are handled by an external payment provider. Payment card details are entered on their page, not ours — we never see or store card numbers. We may see that a donation was made against a device code, in order to thank supporters.

Your choices

Clear the cookies above in your browser at any time to remove preferences and favourites. To stop using the service entirely, revert the receiver’s DNS as described on the DNS page. Questions or removal requests: support@retunefm.com.
