A small, independent project that brings Internet Radio back to older Hi-Fi receivers whose built-in station directory stopped working.
Many Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, Onkyo, Pioneer and other receivers built their "Internet Radio" menu on the legacy vTuner directory. On many older models that directory became unavailable or unreliable, so the menu shows an error or an empty list. Retune·FM answers in its place: you point the receiver at our address with a single DNS setting, and the station list works again — inside the receiver’s own menu, with no app and no account.
Retune·FM is run by an independent enthusiast as a non-commercial hobby project, funded only by voluntary donations. There is no company behind it and no paid subscription. The best way to reach us is by e-mail: support@retunefm.com.
The catalogue is built from the community-run Radio-Browser open database. Every entry is a link to a publicly available stream published by the station itself — we do not host, re-encode or re-broadcast any audio. The stream plays directly from the station to your device.
Streams are health-checked periodically; entries whose stream stops responding are hidden from the catalogue, so the list you see is the set that was working at the last check. You can report a broken or unwanted station at any time.
The vTuner-directory protocol is emulated with YTuner (MIT licence). Retune·FM adds the hosted directory, the web catalogue and player, and the setup guides.
Retune·FM is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, Onkyo, Pioneer, D&M Holdings, or the former vTuner / DTS service. Brand and model names are used only to describe which receivers the service is compatible with.
