Plain-language terms for a free, independent hobby project. By using Retune·FM you agree to what is below.
Last updated: 4 August 2026
Retune·FM is an independent, non-commercial directory (catalogue) of internet-radio stations. It lets you find public radio streams and play them in your browser, and it restores the Internet-Radio menu on legacy Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, Onkyo, Pioneer and similar receivers by standing in for the discontinued vTuner directory. It is run by a private enthusiast and funded only by voluntary donations.
This is the most important point. Retune·FM is not a radio station and not a broadcaster. We do not transmit, host, store, record, re-encode, cache or proxy any audio whatsoever. We publish only a list of links together with descriptive information — station name, the station’s own public stream address, genre, country, bitrate and codec.
What happens when you press Play:
In short, Retune·FM works like a phone book or a search-engine result: it tells your device where a public stream is, and your device connects there itself. We serve the index, never the sound.
Because of this, Retune·FM has no control over — and accepts no responsibility for — the content, legality, licensing, availability, bitrate or quality of any third-party stream. Each station is operated and licensed by whoever runs it; any listening or licensing obligations are a matter between that station and its listeners.
The catalogue is built from the community-run Radio-Browser open database and contains only streams that stations have made publicly available. Broken streams are health-checked and hidden automatically. See About for more.
Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, Onkyo, Pioneer, Harman Kardon, TEAC, vTuner and all other product and company names are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used on this site solely for identification and to describe compatibility (nominative fair use); no endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation is implied. Retune·FM is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Denon, Marantz, D&M Holdings, Sound United, the former vTuner / DTS service, or any other manufacturer.
The service and all information on this site are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uptime or accuracy. Availability is not guaranteed; the service may change, pause or end at any time.
Changing your receiver’s or router’s DNS setting is done entirely at your own risk. We describe exactly what the DNS does and does not touch on the DNS privacy & security page, and you can revert it at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Retune·FM and its operator accept no liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage — including to equipment, data or configuration — arising from use of the service, the DNS change, or any third-party stream.
Use Retune·FM for personal, non-commercial listening. Do not scrape it at scale, overload it, resell it, or use it to infringe anyone else’s rights. The directory and setup guides may not be republished as your own commercial service.
Retune·FM respects intellectual-property rights. Because we host no audio, what we can act on is the listing itself (the link and its metadata). If you are a rights holder or a station operator and want a stream removed from the directory, or you believe a listing infringes your rights, contact us via our support page with the station name and stream URL and we will remove the listing promptly. Removing the listing stops it appearing here; the stream itself remains under the control of whoever hosts it.
Donations are entirely voluntary, go toward server running costs, and are non-refundable. There is no paid tier, no subscription and no obligation to pay — your radio is never cut off. See Pricing.
These terms may be updated from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
