TEAC CD-P800NT: restore Internet Radio
The TEAC CD-P800NT (high-resolution CD / network player, 2015) shows an empty Internet Radio list, a “No stations” or connection error, or “vtuner” no longer responding because the vTuner directory it used became unavailable. Change one DNS setting and the station list returns.
The list didn’t break — its directory did
The CD-P800NT’s Internet Radio ran on vTuner. In early 2025 the radio directory moved to an HTTPS server and TEAC advised that several older network models would no longer receive radio — owners noticed it from around 20 January 2025 — so the menu now returns an error or comes up empty. Retune·FM answers where vTuner used to, over a connection the CD-P800NT supports. The receiver, your network and its streaming are all fine; only the browsable station directory went away when vTuner became unavailable. Retune·FM answers in its place.

About two minutes. You change one value — the DNS server — and nothing else on your network changes.

Confirm stations are back
Power the CD-P800NT off and on (or reconnect it to the network), then open Internet Radio / NET RADIO. The list should come alive. Still empty? Re-check the DNS value and that the receiver gets its address settings from your router. To undo everything, set the IP setting back to Automatic.

Why did Internet Radio stop on the CD-P800NT in 2025?
TEAC’s Internet Radio used the vTuner directory. When that directory moved to an HTTPS server in early 2025, older units like the CD-P800NT could no longer reach it, so the station list went empty or returned an error. Pointing the player’s DNS at Retune·FM gives it a working directory again.
Does it work over Wi-Fi and Ethernet?
Yes. The DNS setting is the same for both — set it under Network → Network Settings for whichever connection the CD-P800NT uses.
Will I lose my other settings?
No. You only change the DNS value (to 62.132.3.28). Switching to Manual can blank the address fields, so note your IP address, subnet mask and gateway first and type them back in.
How do I undo it?
Set the IP setting back to Automatic under Network → Network Settings. Everything returns to how it was.
